I get it, it’s an attention economy. But it’s not for myself, it’s for this person I know who literally crawled away from a palliative care ward and instead of living modestly but comfortably off her settlement after not dying, started a non-profit instead.

It would really help if you even just signed into the kick-off zoom call. You don’t even have to turn on your camera or microphone. Just show up, give five minutes of your time (and help goose the view numbers), and then you can go back to whatever. It would really help:

Our Launch starts with our newsletter digital share wave and dives into our campaign and strategie however this opportunity never would be achieved if not for my friends and strangers who became a community to make this dream a achievable and growing force.

I used to do lives(a TikTok community feature engaging followers and public) on Sundays regularly after my major stroke 5 years ago and the start of my social media turned socal insentive TheSallyProject, it was a nerve-racking things for me to share a physical shell of myself on camera but so was networking for me at one time and I had a purpose I was called to to help not myself fundraise for a surgery but make a path for all the other patients expected to do the same. During my health decline my friends and strangers becoming friends became family and battle advocates in small ways such as modern-day phone trees via social media apps or big ways like helping with communications, websites and research.

In thanks to them and you, I am stepping out of the online shadows and long public fast as we filmed and planed to go Live for the launch just for friends and volunteers.

In my past as in culinary arts i worked and attended an event that restaurants would do which they call a soft launch to test out the restaurant and let everyone learn and get used to their areas as a strategy but it also became a community celebration and congratulations.  Of hard work, paying off and a thank you to those who did that one small thing that made a difference to the person behind the vision. 

In this thought I decided this Sunday to do a Zoom like my old raffle days before. I built this great community of professional help and progress around me so we all can share in this great moment.
