Sometimes we step in dog poop. Trying to make lemonade out of that would cause us stress (and we’d probably get sick). The better approach? Let go of judgment about the good and bad of the situation which causes us stress, and just dealing with it as part of the puzzle of life is what gets us through the crap that life sometimes lays in our path.

Bernie has been a PMP since 2001, a project manager, and is now a consultant working with entrepreneurs, small companies, and volunteer organizations to help them set a vision that becomes executable tasks. He was a software lead on a successful robotic mine-detection system, delivered operational command and control software into active conflict zones, set up and ran a million dollar a week project management office, and was the proposal manager for a billion dollar 20-year support contract at General Dynamics before becoming an independent consultant.
He is also a board member for Deconstructing Fashion, a charity committed to recognizing and promoting ethical global manufacturing in fashion; member of Canadian Veteran Freedom Riders fundraising against homelessness and other veterans' causes; and a co-founder of the start-up Torch Motorcycles - Vintage Bikes for Fast Girls.
